About Me

Teruyo (Terry) Sugiyama, LMT is a State of Maryland and  National Board Certified Massage Therapist who is a graduate of the College of Southern Maryland with an Associate of Applied Science in Massage Therapy and over 1,000 hours of training with a focus on Swedish, Deep tissue, Myofascial, Shiatsu, Reflexology, and  Pregnancy Massage.  She is a native of Japan, where she learned Japanese traditional modalities.  She believes that each individual has the power of self healing.

In Asia, an Alternative approach has been accepted in the healthcare system for many centuries.  My goal is to introduce a natural approach to help clients recognize the existence of their self healing powers to improve the condition of body, mind, and spirit in order to fully enjoy daily life without pain and stress.
